Instagon Noise Quintet was a conceptual expansion of the "Noise Trio" configuration that Instagon has been doing through out 2009. This idea was brought to life at Norcal Noisefest 2009 in Sacramento, CA. as Instagon ensemble 518. This was a one time performance event The "Noise Trio" includes elements of minimalsm noise art, power electronics, and live improvisational bass guitar.. for this Quintet we added a horn section with a Trumpet and a Saxophone making the performance really pop with that jazz overtone that we were looking for with this idea.
