about

This track, and the following 2 come from session #197, recorded July 17, 1999 at Kona Lanes, Costa Mesa, CA.

This show was at a bowling alley that was true land mark in Costa Mesa, CA., but has since been torn down. It was a weekly "rockin bowl" gig and Instagon was happy to play. The entirety of this show was later released by PCP RECORDINGS on cassette and TIF on CDR as the title "KONA". We played 2 sets of music on this night. The 2nd set was cut short by the venue and we were asked to stop.

Nebula Chaser is a riff that Lob originally wrote years ago. A version of it appears on his solo release "Peppermints from Saturn" as the track "Gutterpuddle".

This show, and this song in particular, have been compared to sounding like Joy Division by some people. This song actually was the sound check for this show and was not played in either of the regular sets.

It was recorded, and remastered by Lob.
