This is the 6th release in the Instagon " LIVE AT " series ..

This session was part of an 2 day event called "Sac Go Home Fest" that was organized to celebrate the closing of a short lived venue in Sacramento called Witch Room. Instagon was scheduled for a 30 minute set to start off the 2nd day, but we opened it up to an "open Jam" sorta session,...inviting anyone that wanted to be part.. (old school!) and just let it happen. We started early so we could play longer & we ended up playing for an hour and including 10 players over all.

This session boast involvement from 6 different guitarists.. including members of local Sacramento bands IDEATEAM, MAD JUDY, and WHISKEY & STITCHES. .. but the guitar light for this session is fully shined on CHAD E. WILLIAMS.. who appeared with Instagon for his 100th time during this jam and was on fire during it!

The session opens with an Invokation.. and then flows into a first time cover of Donovan's "Season of the Witch" ..this song was played special for the closing of Witch Room. Other covers in the set include songs by Garage Jazz Architects, & Captain Beefheart

Witch Room was a very sweet live space.. this was the 2nd time Instagon appeared there.. the first was Norcal Noisefest earlier in the year.. and while the room did not last that long.. it made an impression locally.
