This cut comes from session #182, March 16, 1999 at The Rhino Room, Huntington Beach, CA.
Recorded by Dav Huddleston on DAT for TIF. Mixed and re-mastered by Lob. This is the first of 4 songs on this release from this session.

The Rhino Room was a really nice,upscale venue in Huntington Beach,CA and we only managed to play there twice before it closed. These recordings come from the first time. The "Invokation" of Instagon is a pretty regular part of the performance and has always been such.

This recording of the Invokation has a little more punch than it normally does and so it was given the title "Deamon Call" which is basically the same thing right? The Invokation is a sort of flowing start to a a show and it builds into something else..here, the "Deamon Call" teases with the riffs that lend to the next song, "Thee Other One ov These Dayz" as it builds into the set beginnings.

This session features Dav Huddleston on sax, Brian Comerford of THALYMUS FLINT on guitar, and local HB pounder Brett Rubin on the skins. There was hardly any one AT this show.. but the recordings are pretty wonderful. The flow and energy of this performance is one of those that stands out.
