about

This track is the 2nd of 3 from session #197, July 17, 1999 from Kona Lanes, Costa Mesa,CA . recorded and remastered by Lob for TIF

This is a exploration into a riff by BLACK SABBATH originally from their "Paranoid" release.

This is the first time this exploration was performed by Instagon.

Led by Lob, and quickly jumped on by Dan Kaufman..this track shows the beginnings of the conceptual idea that would lead to what Lob would later call "Garage Jazz". It approaches the riff slowly, and presents it as just barely recognizable.. and then descends into deconstruction and playing around with the riff from many directions.

This song was teased during the sound check of this show, but this is the full version from the 1st set.
