Neat Neat Neat

from 2010 Fresh Cuts by Instagon

about

In April of 2010 Instagon played a show at The Stag, In Woodland, CA (session #532) with a group of punk rock bands, and so we did set of riffs from the genre of punk rock. This recording comes from that session.. a quick excursion with the riff from the classic punk tune NEAT NEAT NEAT by the legendary UK band THE DAMNED.
This was complete improvisation.... the band was told perhaps only a few days prior that we MIGHT play this song.. and this was the first time that it was attempted with a group as Instagon. That night we played other songs by the Damned, and also Dead Kennedy's, Black Flag, Agent Orange, and others..it was a fun night..
