This final track of 4 from session #182 is the 2nd version of this song to appear in this collection.

As previously mentioned, "Forward" is the oldest actual original Instagon riff that has continued on to become a standard in our shows. This recording is much different from the earlier one.. with a different tempo and with the saxophone of Dav Huddleson added to it to make it flow in a different direction than the harsher and more aggressive version from the one appearing earlier in this collection from later in the year. Brett Rubin truly makes this recording pop and jump in a way that the other recording of this song does not. They are both equally fun, but also both really different.
