Instagon 519 was the trio that now appears as GARAGE JAZZ ARCHITECTS. This trio has gone on to be the center core of further Instagon sessions as Quartet's, & Quintets, (and more!) but this is the ONLY appearance of JUST this trio AS Instagon.
This session happened in 2 sets, outdoors, in front of home of Chad E. Williams & Kathleen LeMer on a chilly Fall Saturday night. These recordings represent the best material captured by Lob from those 2 sets. The cuts do not appear in the order they were played.
This release occurs on the 17 year anniversary of the first Instagon session. A "Birthday Edition" hard copy, limited to 17 copies each hand numbered with a signed art print by Lob was also made available exclusively thru TIForg Distroblog.
